Very happy to be continuing work with EES (helping take their SMART Emissions Reducer to India, Jordan, and beyond), bringing on Pete Charlerie, a farmer in Prince George’s County, and building more relationships to build a green infrastructure to deploy clean technologies and sustainable initiatives. I have also been tracking the progress of the Open Working Group on the Sustainable Development Goals at the United Nations that are under discussion, will be negotiated next year, and will be launched in 2015 to replace the MDGs. We will hold governments accountable to prioritizing environmental sustainability and combating climate change as they set these goals. Also, we must make the connections between the SDGs and how businesses can help to implement the agenda – it all goes back to going green.
